this image i have found and links with my project of culture very strongly. the coulours and so bold and eyecatching they really stand out against the background of wispy sky which is lovely. i really love the detail that is on the fabric it helps to make this dress even more impressive.

sooo rainy went to life drawing in the rain on a bike got very wet to draw a naked man dressed as a gladiator.. very strange day!

logos, bits and pieces

This was created in illustration and its just a combination page with logos, labels and image to show the work i have been creating through illustrator. I tryed to make it as colourful as i could to make it look cheery, eye-catching and bold.

i got a bit carried away and created the different views of the garment i drew yesterday and added some detail to all of them but am happy with the angles i have drawn them in and i think im finally grasping illustrator yeyyyy !!

i created this illustration at the end of my illustrater slot and added a little more detail than i have in the past it helps it to look more realistic, this looks alot more effective.

this is a simple powerpoint we were just being taught how to upload them to our blogs and its alot more frustrating than you would think ! partly because the file has to be so small and therefor less interesting !

on friday the 6th me and bridie and housemates went to the somerset house in london to the showstudio FASHION REVOULUTION and we watched the nick kight vogue cover shoot it was amazing and soo interesting to watch how much work goes into a cover shoot i took loads of pics and drew alot from the actual exhibition which was really interesting with alot of different fashion designers work such as Garath Pugh and Alexander Mcqueen (amazing) but also watching the photos being taken going straight into photoshoot was amazing ! and how much the images were changed sooo much on photoshoot ! we then headed over to the V and A to look round the graduate and historical fashion which was really interesting and also we brushed shoulders with erin oconner which was fab a great day !

pattern cutting

we have been creating a-lined skirts and circle skirt patterns in pattern cutting on 5/11/09 which was really interesting ! and i made one that was my size so that will be useful in the future.

3/11/09 illustrator

i made these on illustrator its annoying im not sure why it has done it but its changed the colours from warm burgandys to cold blues! ? anyone no why ??
